Statistically significant changes occurred in self-perceived pain frequency, intensity of pain, pain duration, functional status, pain related disability, and depression; these differences retained their significance at the 3-month follow-up.

Menopausal women finding alternative therapies beneficial for symptom management.

The Centre for Health Studies & Group Health Cooperative, Washington conducted a survey which found over 76% of women are utilising alternative therapies for treatment of menopausal symptoms.  These therapies included naturopathy & massage & it was found that 89 - 100% of women had positive responses.
